I thought it was kinda fun reading Kimberly and Karissa's lists, so I was actually willing when Karissa tagged me. So here it goes.
4 things I was doing 10 years ago:
1: First year of Explore with Prairie Bible College! I taught rafting with Pepper to the students and lived in the not-so-dungeon.
2: I drove an Isuzu Trooper that my parents had given me. Sometimes when I needed escape from Camp, I would drive until I could see the Mission Mountains, pull over and look at them, then go back.
3: Zach and I started thinking we might like to pursue a relationship, by Christmas we were officially dating, engaged in the spring and married at the end of the summer!
4: For my 19th birthday, friends drove me up to see the sunset on Seigel Pass, then down the other side for ribs and a memorable discussion of hairy chests.
4 things on my to-do list for today:
1: Aargh, go to the dentist for fillings.
2: Laundry...always
3: Pick the big boys up at 4:45 from after school program
4: Make chicken n'dumplings for dinner.
4 random things I love about my husband:
1: He's HOT!!!
2: He makes me laugh.
3: He truly enjoys our boys and loves to play with them.
4: He's great at taking care of people and showing compassion to them. This is demonstrated anywhere, but especially at Camp, on EMS calls, in every teaching situation, and at home with us.
4 jobs that I have had:
1: At a friend's business doing data entry in Spokane.
2: A temp placement service in Spokane. Once I unloaded a Goodwill truck all day, I worked with 2 men and the Goodwill people only asked me to come back. (I refused :) I also got a long-term job through this service in which I worked in a warehouse picking/packing/and shipping orders for a company that Zach will never stop making fun of me because it was called Buckeye Beans. He thinks that's so hilarious!
3: The local hospital and nursing home here. I was a CNA and worked until I was around 6 months pregnant with Josiah.
4: Current: Mama! Wilderness Medical Associates assistant instructor. American Heart Association instructor. EMT with Plains Ambulance and Bighorn QRU.
4 movies I have watched more than once:
1: Many Adam Sandler movies! Favs are 50 First Dates and Big Daddy
2: The Shawshank Redemption
3: How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days
4: The Never Ending Story (when I was a kid I rented this EVERY time I was allowed to pick!)
4 places I have lived:
1: Spokane, 3 houses throughout growing up
2: Redmond in 6th and 7th grades
3: 6 months in Utah
4: The first 2 1/2 years of our married life was in the basement of our friends' house here in MT.
4 places I have been:
1: East coast for my brother's grad from Army Basic, we spent a few days driving and seeing plantations and battlefields and my Aunt Krissie's home.
2: Several trips to my brother and sister-in-law's when they were stationed in Arizona, one of these trips I made it into Mexico.
3: Bugaboos for a climbing trip
4: Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon
4 places I want to visit: (this is an endless list)
1: Australia
2: Alaska
3: Back to Zion with Zach to climb
4: Philadelphia, I could really care less about the city, it's a certain family there ;)
4 TV shows I watch: (we don't get cable or reception, we watch shows from Netflix after they go to dvd)
1: The Unit
2: The Office
3: CSI
4: House
4 things you may not know about me:
1: The reason I was in Utah for six months, (above) was because I was in a locked girls facility, (I was a little out of control at 14)
2: I had purple hair once, LOVED it, and would love to have it again.
3: When I was pregnant with Conrad, I rode in the back of the ambulance to Missoula with a patient and got so car sick, I threw up. The patient was sleeping and I did my best to not let them know!
4: I may consider learning to be a doula someday.
4 people I tag to do this on their blogs: (IF you want!)
1: Stephanie S.
2: Jessica E.
3: I don't know anyone else with a blog that hasn't already been tagged!!!
4: You!!!!

Who isn't out of control at 14? You couldn't pay me enough to go back to that age. But still, knowing you as a grown up, that surprised me! So fun Cori, thanks!
Cori, you had purple hair too? I was about 8 and LOVED the color purple (the movie too...) andyway we had a neighbor that was a hair designer and she had this fancy new product, called silouetting and so my mom agreed that I could do this. So i went w/Purple, the idea is that everytime the sun hits your hair it turns that color or shines that color. It did, I loved it...however since my hair is so dark it quickly turned red. Anyway, I'd didn't know either that you were in juevy...love to hear about your youth and how you came to place of accepting the truth.
Can't wait to actually see you and Zach soon, maybe have dinner together as families. Are you guys coming up for Christ-mas? If so, let's try and squeeze a meal in (i know it's a crazy time / lots of family and such) so maybe even a lunch.
In HIM ~ Heather
Cori, YAY! Love the nod to Office and The Unit and no I didn't know your four random things....isn't this fun?!
I remember your purple hair & how much you loved it! I read this to Jer he was like 10 years ago I was living at Cori's house with her family! Funny!
