First Day of School!

Today was the first day of school. Conrad began his first day of kindergarten at the local small school. There are 10 kids in his class K-2. Only 2 of those are kindergarten. He had a great time! Even though he doesn't smile for the camera very often! Josiah is at home with us this year. So he had his first day of 1st grade homeschool. We had fun as well. Josiah's biggest issue is staying focused and not watching everything Brenden is doing!

Birthday boys!!

Conrad turned 5 on Wednesday and Brenden celebrated his first birthday on Thursday. We were in Spokane for the week for VBS, so we took advantage of the "city life"! Conrad picked Chuck E. Cheese as his party place and had a blast! He barely slowed down to even eat. My cousin Duncan was a huge help in following the boys around and helping with games that were still a little too hard for them.

On Brenden's day we had family over for dinner and ice cream cake! He appreciated the gifts he received, but he was really the most delighted by the balloons! The second favorite (for everyone present) was a gift bag that sang! Brenden LOVES music and dances every time he hears it. The funny thing is he changes his groove with different types of music so you really never know what he'll do. The gift bag brought out a whole new dance that had us cracking up till we cried!

The week at VBS was great fun for the boys. The week ended with a carnival on Saturday. They liked watching the kids perform martial arts, sat in a fire truck, loved the petting zoo, and rode horses....... along with everything else!!

Zach had dinner ready for us when we got home and none of us have hardly let him out of our sights!!!
